Terms of Service

HuanWoQian calculates and records shared expenses. It is not a bank, money transmitter, escrow service, debt collector, or payment processor.

Using the service

You must provide accurate account information, keep access to your sign-in account secure, and use HuanWoQian lawfully. You are responsible for the content you add and for having permission to add another person’s name or phone number.

Calculations are records, not transfers

Balances and repayment suggestions are based on the entries provided by trip members. They do not prove that money is legally owed and do not transfer funds. Members are responsible for checking entries, exchange rates, and settlement status before acting.

Shared groups

Authorized group members can view and change shared trip content according to their role. Expense revisions and settlement actions may remain in an audit history. A name-only guest has no account access unless they later accept a valid invitation and claim the record.

Reminders

Use reminders respectfully. Automated reminders are limited, but you must not use the app to harass, threaten, deceive, or expose another person. We may restrict abusive use.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may change, and we may suspend access to protect users, comply with law, or maintain the service.

Account deletion

You may delete your account in the app or through the verified web flow. Shared accounting records may remain in anonymized form so other members retain an accurate ledger.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent allowed by law, the service is provided “as is.” We are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect user entries, external payment arrangements, exchange-rate decisions, or disputes among participants. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
